Vanderhall North America Recalls All Model Year 2024-2026 Brawley Electric Recreational Off-road Vehicles Due to Injury and Crash Hazards

What should I do?

Consumers should stop using the recalled vehicles immediately and contact an authorized Vanderhall dealer to schedule a free repair. A technician will install an insert into the seat belt guide slot on each seat that will reduce the speed the seat belt retracts, preventing the lockup from occurring.

What's the hazard?

The seat belts in Brawley ROVs can permanently lockup in the fully retracted position. If this occurs, consumers would be unable to reset the seat belt and put it on when the vehicle is operating, posing injury and crash hazards to consumers.

Incidents/injuries: Vanderhall has received 11 reports of the seat belt locking up. No injuries have been reported.
